Job Title: Technical Sales Representative
Job Requirements Summary:
As a team member of the Commercial department, this individual will work closely with the existing and potential clients to promote the sale of services of the Company from concept for sourcing to coordination of delivery of goods/services and invoicing & producing statement of accounts.
This position is the first line of contact and shall establish and maintain long-term business relationships with new and current clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow the business through professional communication with existing and potential clients
- Manage and interpret client requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
- Communicate service opportunities and clients concerns or suggestions
- Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
- Coordinates company staff to provide exemplary service to clients including teams like logistics, shipping, finance, M&G or others
- Expand market awareness of our services and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our services effectively
- Work with the Tender teams to ensure client project requirements are met
- Maintaining records of client’s communications and contact information as required
- Preparing and coordinating responses to Tenders; including RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information) and coordinate legal documents to be send signed by both parties after award for reference and filing.
- Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans, statement of accounts, payment performance; communicate any client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed
- Working knowledge of the design tools and price calculations to produce quotations and proposals as required.
- Researches market requirements and market data
- Maintain knowledge of competitor services and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
- Submit a variety of status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals and submit regularly clients visit plans; schedule client meetings and action plans for follow-up
- Understand and comply with established guidelines that ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas sector or equivalent industries (at least 2 years of technical pre-sales or marketing experience preferred)
- MAITRISE (BAC +4) or Master (Bac +5) or a related discipline are acceptable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Excellent ability to speak, read and write French and Arabic
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Attention to detail and motivated to achieve results with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work in a fast with team of people with various job responsibilities.
